Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ScanConstra handles, why it is needed, and the controls available to you.

Local-first by design

Your projects remain available on your device. Cloud storage is used when you sign in and synchronize.

Effective August 30, 2026 No advertising or cross-app tracking

ScanConstra is a room-capture, measurement, project-planning, and renovation-estimating application. This policy applies to the ScanConstra iOS app and its connected web workspace.

01

Information handled by ScanConstra

ScanConstra may process:

  • Account information, including your name, email address, user identifier, and workspace name.
  • Client and project information you enter, such as names, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, and property addresses.
  • Room geometry, measurements, project quantities, estimates, notes, and other content you create.
  • Authentication information supplied by email and password, Google, or Apple. ScanConstra does not receive your Google or Apple password.
  • App Store purchase information needed to verify ScanConstra Pro access, including product and transaction identifiers, purchase, expiry and revocation dates, environment, and the ScanConstra user identifier linked through Apple's app-account token. ScanConstra does not receive your payment-card details.
02

How information is used

Information is used only to provide ScanConstra features, including authentication, project organization, measurement review, estimating, PDF generation, subscription verification, cloud continuity, reliability monitoring, and security. ScanConstra does not sell personal information, display advertising, or use collected information for cross-app tracking.

03

Local and cloud storage

ScanConstra is local-first. Project files, raw room-capture JSON, USDZ models, photos, and generated PDFs may remain on your device. When you sign in and synchronize, project metadata, estimates, rate snapshots, normalized measurements, and private room assets may be stored in your private ScanConstra Supabase cloud workspace for recovery. Supabase processes cloud data as a service provider. Google or Apple processes authentication data when you choose its sign-in option.

04

Sharing

ScanConstra shares information only with Apple for App Store purchase processing, with service providers needed to operate authentication and cloud features, when you explicitly export or share a file, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users and the service.

05

Retention and deletion

Cloud information is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your cloud account and associated workspace data from ScanConstra Cloud → Delete My Account. Project files stored locally remain under your control and can be removed by deleting projects or uninstalling ScanConstra. Infrastructure backups may retain encrypted historical copies for the provider's configured rotation period; those copies are not used for active product access.

06

Security

ScanConstra uses HTTPS for network communication and stores authentication sessions in the iOS Keychain. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.

07

Children

ScanConstra is intended for renovation professionals and is not directed to children under 13.

08

Changes and contact

This policy may change as ScanConstra develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page. For privacy questions or deletion assistance, use the account and support controls available in ScanConstra. You can delete cloud data directly from ScanConstra Cloud → Delete My Account.
